Chapter 3

“Pin him, pin him, pin him” I could hear Lukas shouting at me before I grabbed Fred's hand and twisted it to his back before using my other hand to cross his neck in a chokehold

I held him still for a few seconds before he tapped out, I released him to then catch his breath 

“That's my girl!” Lukas screamed before walking over to me to hold my hand up high, all the pack warriors of the deepwater pack just watched me as I defeated the lead warrior one-on-one.

“I alpha Lukas of Deepwater crown you Amelia James as the new alpha warrior of Deepwater”

He announced before everyone began to clap, I couldn't believe how far I had come, two years ago I was weak and got rejected by my mate, but now I just defeated the best warrior in one of the strongest packs in the world.

Ever since I arrived here and Lukas took me in and treated me like his junior sister I have been training with the best warriors who have pushed me to my best possible limit 

Now I've just defeated the best of the best. I raised my hands “I Amelia James pledge to serve, protect, and ensure the safety of everyone in the pack even if I die trying” to which I received a round of applause 

“I'm proud of you,” Lukas said to me before Alex ran into our training center panting heavily 

“Alpha we are being attacked and all the wolves from the east defense have been taken down,” he said while gasping for air

“Everyone gear up and follow my lead” Lukas yelled and immediately shifted into his huge grey wolf and was gone in the blink of an eye

I hadn't met my wolf and had no idea if I was ever going to, but I knew my abilities with a sword so I picked up two swords in both my hands,

This was an opportunity for me to prove myself as a lead warrior as I just got the position. 

Running out everyone was already in their wolf form, some houses were on fire and we seemed outnumbered.

Running at the wolves who visibly had markings on their right arms I could easily differentiate my warriors from our enemies as I ran over flinging my swords against our enemies 

I saw how Lukas, Henry, and Alex fought in sync it was like they read each other's minds as they shredded the rival wolves 

The other wolves fought well as well, although some were getting killed.

All of a sudden, I heard a voice in my head saying “Turn around quickly Amelia”

Turning around I saw a wolf running at me in high motion, I flung the sword from my right hand which pierced his head 

“Who are you?” I asked as I was in complete shock

“My name is Beth, and I am your wolf,” she said 

“Well perfect timing, what took you so long?” I questioned her as I flung my sword in the air killing the wolves on my path

“I'm sorry I couldn't get to you earlier Amelia but you weren't ready?” She said

“Well I guess I'm ready now then” 

“Are you ready for your first shift? She asked me while I was still flinging my sword against our rivals

“And how are we supposed to do that?” I questioned

“Leave that to me, just let me take control,” she said, then I closed my eyes and I could instantly feel my bones cracking as I fell to the ground, I saw my fingers turn to long sharp claws and my teeth grew longer and visibly,

When the shift was completed I saw Lukas stare at me like I was a ghost as the wolf head he had in his mouth fell to the ground 

For the first time, I felt different; high sense of smell, sight, and hearing 

I glanced over my shoulders to see one of the wolves running at me at full speed and within a second I was holding his neck and his feet above the ground as my claws pierced through his neck and his blood ran down my arm

I used my other hand and pressed against his chest to remove his heart which I held in my hand

Next thing I knew I was running around using my claws to reap the necks of our enemies, in less than no time I had bitten and ripped every single one of them leaving the rest of them to retreat.

After we defeated them I noticed everyone stood still and just stared at me which made me wonder if they had never seen a wolf before 

Breaking the silence I said “Hello!, what's going on”

Before Alex said  “You are a freaking white wolf oh my God!” his eyes looked like they were about to bulge out with his mouth wide open, everyone had the same expression.

I raised my two hands and looked at it to realize that I was actually white

“Ami, do you have any idea what a white wolf is?” Lukas asked me

“Apart from the fact I'm the only one who is white… not really” I shrugged 

“Well white wolves are incredibly rare and are possessed by very few werewolves in centuries, they only choose special people and they signify strength and bravery, you're lucky ami, white wolves possess a boundless amount of powers” 

I felt really special at this point at least something to be proud of “Thanks for choosing me Beth” I said to her

“I'm the one who should be proud Amelia” she replied 

“Go ensure that the perimeters are clear and double the security at every post” Lukas instructed Alex

“Yes sir” Alex nodded.

We had doubled the security at the pack since the attack to ensure the safety of the pack and the people, Lukas has been busy lately with running the pack but a report came in and Lukas sent for me as the alpha warrior, i was now involved in meetings regarding pack matters,

Getting to his office door which had alpha Lukas crested on it with gold, I knocked 

“Come in,” he said before I opened the door to see that Henry and Alex were already with him

I took my seat next to Alex, we sat opposite Lukas who was behind his table facing us

“So I called all of you to inform you that we got a report from another pack who need our help in protecting their pack and fighting against rogues” he carefully explained to us

Being one of the strongest packs we assisted other packs in helping them fight and protecting them from rogues and other treats if they couldn't do it on their own

“Myself, Henry, and Alex will take charge of this while Amelia will remain here and oversee the affairs of the pack,” he said calmly 

“We will leave tomorrow, so prepare your bags for at least a week or two” he instructed 

Which pack would you guys be heading over to? I asked and he had this weird look on his face before saying

“Silvermoon”
