CORA’s POV…

I gasped as I expected to meet with my death, but for some strange reason, I didn’t feel death. Apart from all the pain I was feeling before, I didn’t feel anything else and I gasped as I kept my eyes closed.

I swallowed as I tried to keep in mind where I was, but just then, I felt someone’s broad chest and my head was on it.

I gasped in pain as I held on to my head, closing my eyes as more tears streamed down my cheeks. I took in a deep inhale as I slowly opened my eyes, but on trying to open my eyes, all the blood from earlier filled my eyes and I extended my hand to try and clean my eye so I could open it finally, but I couldn’t.

I took in a deep inhale as screwing all the pain, I wiped the blood off my eyes, and on opening my eyes, my jaw dropped in shock at the sight of the person who had just saved me.
