Black Grave pack...
Five days on...Waking up to the blank memories of the past few days has been the worst days of her life. Yes, she has been living with that for the past years, but lately, she has been curious. The past she never wanted to know about is now haunting her, and she needs to know about it. Maybe she'll be able to have clues about who she is.It's a beautiful evening, and the view from the garden looks great. She is supposed to be smiling heartily as she stares at the beauty of the flower, but how's she supposed to be happy when everything reminds her of that monster? How's she supposed to still feel the connection between herself and the beautiful flowers, when he already ruined her life and her entirety?Slowly, she clenches her fists and grits her teeth as she glares hard at the flower. Suddenly, she feels her heart wrenches in pain. It's coming again, that demonic power that took her body, that power that buried her good heart and manipulated her. She tries to stop it, but it doesn't seem like it's going to work.'I'll worship your body forever, Iris' recalling his smile each time he had told her that lies, she can't help the hatred that suddenly consumes her, and she can't help wishing to make him pay, but then, the thought of his kids that she already got addicted to."They're all the same, Iris! Don't think about them. Remember that their father gave birth to them? They tend to take after him. They'll do nothing, but betray you in the end," Her subconscious mind screams at her, and she clenches her fists more.'We don't like her, father''Who do you think you are? Because you were giving a chance to get close to my kids, you think that you now have a place in their lives?' Those are the hurting words that keep ringing in her head, and she can only conclude that she was right. They're all the same."Do you still love him even after everything?" A strange feminine voice sounds from behind her, and she freezes on the spot. Slowly, she turns around to see the source of the chilling voice. The cold voice that gave her goosebumps. Finally, there she is. Her own image is standing right before her, and glaring hard at her with so much anger written all over her face."Who...who are you?" Although she knows she shouldn't be asking the question because it's obvious that this creature is herself. But how come she's suddenly split into two?"I am you, Iris!" The chill in the voice sends shivers down her spine, as a smirk creeps up her lip. She suddenly feels her heart beating rapidly against her chest like it's trying to escape from her. Her forehead suddenly covers up in balls of sweat, and she feels herself getting consumed by the dark and intimidating aura of the image that's standing before her. Who's this? What does she want from her? Why's she haunting her?"You...you are me?" Iris stutters nervously, unable to believe this, even as it's so obvious that she looks just like herself."Don't be scared. I'm just here to keep you company and have a little discussion with you. No cause for alarm," Iris watches as her image walks past her and touches the flower with so much enthusiasm in her. She panics."Don't attract attention to yourself. You're the only one that can see me. Don't you think people will think of you as weird, wearing that terrified look on?" Her image smirks at her, and she steps back with fear written all over her."I asked a question, Iris. Do you still love him?" Her question echoes in Iris's head for the second time, and she gulps down nothing nervously. Does she still love Lorenzo even after everything? Yes, she hates him so much, but will it still happen when she gets to see him again? With these mixed feelings in her, the feeling of hatred and wants, she wish that she can get rid of them. She wishes that she doesn't feel this way, and just feels like killing him and ending all her miseries."Poor Iris. I have gotten the answer that I am looking for. See you some other time," Iris watches as she vanishes into thin air before she can think of stopping her. She has so many questions to ask her, but it seems like she'll never get a chance, or maybe not today."The alpha seeks your presence in his chamber, Iris," The polite voice of her maid disrupts her thought, and she sighs briefly."I'll be there shortly," She dismisses the maid, still staring in the direction that the mysterious lady with her image had gone. Could that really be her? Finally turning around, she strides out of the garden and heads straight to alpha Argus's chamber, and there he is, sitting in his study and having all of his attention engrossed in the book he's reading. No doubt that it's a book about history. At least, those are the only books he studies during his free time."Greetings," She bows her head slightly after she walks into the study to meet him. It has been a couple of days since she has been here, and she's kind of already getting adapted to life here. She still has many questions running through her mind with each day that passes by, but she still feels like it's too early for that. Maybe giving it more time to learn and know more about this man would be the best idea in the world."Greetings. Please sit," Alpha Argus points to the empty seat across from him, and she nods her head and makes herself comfortable on it."You sent for me..." She pauses."Yes, I did..." He pauses, then stands up from the chair, and walks over to the shelf that has so many books. He runs his fingers through the tons of books, while Iris stares at him from her seat in confusion. She didn't ask him to pick a book for her, so what's he up to?He suddenly stops his finger abruptly, once he finds what he has been looking for. He brings out a book with a hardcover and blows off the dirt from it. He stares at it for a few seconds, his eyes flicker sadly. The book seems to hold so many of his precious memories, if not with her."I have been thinking, you know..." He pauses and walks over to her, leaning on the desk while hovering over her. She feels her heart beating rapidly against her chest, and she can't help gulping down the lump that just formed in her throat."Why don't we read a book together, huh?" He finally asks, and for some reason, she feels relief. She had no idea what she was thinking about moments ago, and she had no idea why she was so nervous and scared, but now she feels relieved. However, she suddenly finds herself having this feeling of curiosity as soon as he drops the book on the desk. This book, she has seen it before... She was connected to this book, but how come she can't remember anything about it?"This..." Her mouth drops open, as she slowly reaches out for it...Location: Grave Claw packIris is standing on the balcony and staring up at the sky. It's sunset already, the gentle wind blow on her face and swaying her hair slowly. Thinking about the love of her life, a beautiful smile lace up her small heart-shaped lips. The day she has been waiting for is finally here, the day she'll finally be united with the man she has grown to love, as her mate. The thought of it makes her heart dance to the rhythm of love and excitement. It has been three years already since she has been with alpha Lorenzo, and knowing that he'll finally be choosing his mate tonight, she can't help being happy, knowing that her dream will finally come true. Suddenly, his scent fills the atmosphere, and his aura tells his presence. Her smile widens as she turns around to see him walking up to her gracefully, looking as handsome as always in his royal robe. His raven hair is clinging to his head with some strands resting on his forehead, and his brown eyes are almost the mos
For some minutes, she freezes on the spot, her world crashing down on her feet and her eyes becoming heavy. His words ring in her head, as she tries to comprehend what he just said. She bats her eyelashes a few times, trying to wake up from this nightmare of hers, but it dawns on her that this is the reality that she needs to wake up to. Alpha Lorenzo just rejected her. "Wh...what are you saying?" Amid the murmurs from the crowd, her voice quivers as she slowly drags her feet out of the crowd, not breaking eye contact with him. She feels her heart pumping heavily against her chest like it would pop out anytime soon. She keeps gulping down nothing. "You heard me, Iris... I reject you!" His voice sounds cold as he spells the words to her again. A dry scoff tears through her throat and she pinches her skin under her long purple gown, and this is reality. It doesn't look like a dream. "Why?" Broken, she finally manages to ask after two minutes of staring at him with tears in her eyes. H
Her hair suddenly turns red, and her breath thickens as she walks slowly and steadily toward alpha Lorenzo, who is now on his feet and staring at the dangerous creature in front of him. For the first time in his entire life, the power of a woman almost defeated him. That would've been the most humiliating experience of his life, but there was no way he'll let her do that to him. No one dares to try that with him. "Attack!" Hearing the roar from the zeta, she stops abruptly and slowly clenches his fists whilst glaring hard at alpha Lorenzo, like she would devour him anytime soon. What has come over the gentle Iris that'll never look into anybody's eyes? What has come over the woman that respects the alpha so much to the point of treating him like her god? Is she signing a death contract? Acting upon the order of the zeta, two guards charges at Iris, and stabs her back with daggers before she can defend herself. "Incendio..." She whispers and snaps her eyes open. The room suddenly fee

He asks, his voice is hard and scary, but she isn't moved a bit. Because, why should she? "I feel guilty for what I did, Lorenzo..." She stops and manages to stand up to her feet. The corner of her lips slowly twitches into a smirk as she glares hard at her. At this point, it feels like she's not scared of whatever comes out of this. Why the hell should she care? He already ruined her, he has taken away her happiness, so what's there to care about again? "I feel guilty because of the innoce
Chapter 5 Three years ago Iris POV "You will be working as my kid's maid henceforth," Alpha Lorenzo says to me with his dark eyes glaring hard at me, and I gulp down nothing as I feel my heart beating rapidly against my chest. I gulp down nothing nervously as I stare at the man I met three days ago at the fountain. After that day, I have always wished to see him again, little did I know he is the Alpha of the pack. Standing in front of him with his dark aura consuming me now, I feel like my heart is going to explode anytime soon. "While working as my kid's maid, I don't want them to complain about you... I don't want them to have any reason to cry, and if you scold them, you will have your ill luck to blame for it," He further utters, while having his attention on the book he's reading, and that makes me even more scared. Chapter 6 Iris POV "The Alpha sent us to come get you," One of the guards utters coldly, and I can't help the scoff that tears through my throat. The only person I'm scared of in this pack is the Alpha, and nobody else, so if this guard thinks he can intimidate me with that look, then he better go back and learns more about how to scare me. "So what? Is that why you barged in just like that? I'm sure you know how to knock, or nicely announce your presence other than barging in like that, right?" I snap at them angrily as I clench my fists, trying so hard to suppress the anger that keeps trying to consume me. I don't care about what happens next, I may slap these bastards now. "Iris, please," Mom whispers behind me, and I sigh briefly. Turning to face her, I pull her into my arms and hug her tightly like it's the last time we are ever going to see each other. Tears stream down my cheeks as I hug her like I should never let her go. Although we are still going to see each other often
