245 : Her Fears

“Luna Verena, that’s wrong. You can’t exclude us like this. Our pack members need protection too,” Alpha Givoni says. Now they remeber to adress me as the Luna of this pack.

“You should have thought of that when you sat in the meeting room. When you sit with us, you bear a certain responsibility. All of you showed us that you can’t take that responsibility. You people have betrayed me before in fear of the Alpha King. I looked past that. I can’t look past this,” I say in a stern voice.

Elijah was right. There was no point in joining hands with people who have betrayed you once.

“But—”

“That’s all. All of you are free to leave.” I turn around and walk towards the door. When I hold the door handle, I look over my shoulder. “Grow some balls. Otherwise none of you’d survive the Ashwalkers.” Saying that, I step out of the door.

Joshua blows some air through his mouth. “That was amazing. You showed those assholes their place.” He smirks.

I feel a little relaxed too after venting
