SIRA

I slowly turned around and extended the phone over to Alpha Eros. He grabbed it from me, and turned to leave. I swallowed the lump in my throat as I extended my fingers over to him.

“Wait,” I called out.

He turned around, his brows crinkling at the side. I tried my best not to show how tense I was, but it was as though I was shaking without much work. The whole thing was making me so tense, and I tried my best to be calm.

“What is it?” He asked calmly.

How do I ask him what I really wanted, now that I have called him? This couldn’t get more embarrassing than it already was. He was looking at me curiously, but I was not able to tell him a word. I had no idea what to say at that every moment.

“Sira?” Alpha Eros questioned patiently.

“I…” I trailed off and looked at his hand. “I wanted to know if you still had any symptoms of the fever. I mean, the other time I was here, you were very sick, so I was just curious,” I said stupidly.

He smiled a bit. “I’m fine. You don’t need to worry
