SIRA

I stared at Eros. He looked at me like he was bored out of his mind, and it made my stomach tighten painfully. Why had I been brought to this class? I looked at Cansil, and he seemed oblivious of my panic.

The thing is, I wanted to flee, but at the same time, I didn’t want to look like a coward, so I put my head down and followed Cansil into the class. He walked deeper and faster into the class, and I quickened my pace too. Then, suddenly, I hit him from behind. He was quick as he turned around, stabilising me in the process.

“Sorry,” I muttered.

“It’s fine,” Cansil said softly as helped me to my sit.

I swallowed the lump in my throat when he sat down beside me. How was I going to handle all these right now? I had no idea what I was going to do to get out of the awful situation that I had found myself.

I turned to Cansil, and he was beaming. That only made me more upset. Why did this have to happen like this? I wish there was a way to handle the situation in a way that I might
