I'm Sorry, I Missed You.

Damon stepped out of the cubicle he had been placed in and walked towards me.

My smile of pride fell as he neared closer to me. My heart thumps loudly inside of me as my hand grew sweaty all of a sudden, like I was nervous.

My mind wandered to different thoughts.

What was he going to do to me?

Was he going to drag me off to the border once more?

Was he going to send me back to my father's pack?

I didn't know what to do so I just stood there as he drew closer to me, there was a frown on his face and his eyes held no emotions.

Worst of it all was that the thread that was joining us together wasn't strong enough for me to really understand the emotions he was feeling at this moment.

I didn't know if he was angry at me or if he was happy to see me or if he just wanted me to leave.

Whatever he made up his mind to do, I was going to accept because I knew I had hurt him in ways he hadn't even imagined.

But I couldn't deny that a part of me was happy to see him, to see those oceanic blue
