Damon's POV.

It was getting harder to remain on my feet, I didn't know how many hours had passed but neither of us were submitting.

It's been a very long time I fought last and it was taking a toll on my body, but knowing fully well that Selene might be in danger kept me going.

I couldn't take my eyes off Dakota for a second and Christian was busy fighting off the other wolves in his wolf form.

I still couldn't shift yet because I didn't want to risk without answering Selene in case her voice came in the telecom.

I prayed she was ok as I got distracted when Dakota slashed his claws on my stomach, tearing it immediately.

I staggered backwards as I finally became conscious of my environment.

Bodies of wolves laid dead in the woods, and I recognized only a few were from my pack.

There were more bodies of Alpha Dakota's men pack as mine had taken most of them with arrows. Dakota had been foolish enough to only go for close range attacks.

I marched forward as I slammed my fist into Dakota
