Don't Underestimate Them

Selene's POV.

My eyes glittered with unshed tears as I disconnected the telecom and shoved it into my pocket.

Despite Damon's warnings, I still went ahead to meet with Jeremy.

He could be in danger and I wasn't going to sit back and watch something happen to him. Never.

But hearing Damon's voice made me feel happy atleast because we were now on speaking terms.

I felt joy coursed through me so I prayed that he was ok, his voice sounded strained like he was out of breath.

I could only imagine the pain he was going through, because no matter how strong Damon was, my father was the perfect match for him coupled with the experience my father had in numerous wars.

The green moss pack had never been into any serious and real fight with any pack under Damon's rule, so defeating my father wasn't going to be a walk into the park.

I looked up at the sky, the moon shining above me as I let out a silent prayer that the pack has won.
