Selene's Pov

When the border guards of the green moss pack grabbed me and Lucy the moment we stepped in, I thought they would take us to the pack house.

At first, I had expected Damon to be the one who would come to the border after inhaling my scent, but instead, it had been the guards I wasn't familiar with.

I had thought perhaps, he just didn't want to see me or deal with me directly.

But nothing prepared me to see that Damon was in a court and from the setting, he was being rebuked by the councils.

Meeting him had awakened some memories that I had tried to bury inside of me, it stirred up emotions and those oceanic blue eyes I had daydreamed of were right in front of me.

I could feel a string between us as soon as our eyes made contact.

I wanted to run and grab onto him, hug him and apologize for everything I had
