Scarlet POV

Walking away from the kitchen into the sitting room, I fall flat on the couch feeling numb.

Alpha Dave had truly killed my dad? But why? I try to find so many reasons why he would kill my dad or how my dad got involved with him.

Janet stands in front of me as she refuses to take her eyes away. I see her fear, probably scared of what I might become after all she just told me.

I would have reacted if I wasn’t numb. I feel weak to my bones that I could barely speak. Have you ever been in some kind of shock that you don’t know how to feel about it?

“ Hey, I know you haven’t eaten anything since morning, I will make you something to eat.” She strides out of the sitting room.

Thinking about it, Noah is not wrong about the war. The only problem is that war is a very bad thing that could end a lot of lives.
