(RHEA'S POV - IN ATLAS' BODY)

“I did say I’ll figure something out but….”

My heart raced as I paced the length of the Alpha’s dimly lit office. The weight of my promise hung heavy in the air. I couldn’t afford hesitation—not when Kaida’s next move could mean the death of Atlas and I, as well as the demise of the entire Nightspire Pack.

The rhythmic flicker of documents on the desk mirrored the urgency in my mind. Every second counted. My fingers traced the reports on my office desk, my plan forming with each passing moment.

I needed a reason, a lure, to bring Kaida here and capture her for good.

“Where was it?” My frustration mounted as I continued to search for the security formation plan for tomorrow's banquet.

Earlier that day, I had specifically sent Daisy to request Alpha Caden’s assistance in confronting Mortis. Thus, creating a gap in the security setup was necessary to facilitate our subtle entry.
