He tore me apart like an inflatable doll, and even though I begged him to slow down, be a little gentler, and don't go hard on me, he didn't listen. I learned that Aros had indeed become an Alpha, and Vincent had chosen to live in isolation from the rest of the pack. His decision wasn't based on shame over losing the title, nor anything to do with me, but on the fact that he needed time to himself.
