It's a trap. I judge not only by the note but by how easy it is to get to this place. Although I needed to be by the cliff, I wouldn't make it easy for Diego to kill me. Instead, I followed the trail those idiots had left and found the underground bunker. So predictable, it hurts. I feel like history is repeating itself- I was in a situation like this once a few years ago. Just like then, two careless guards stand near the door. They're laughing at each other's jokes, which seems like a perfect excuse to attack now, but I know better. I'll strike when the time is right- they know I'm following them, they know I'll come alone, and right now, both men are pretending to pay no attention to their surroundings. Enya povAs Diego's lifeless body collapses at my feet, his words echo in my mind. "In a few hours, you'll find out what it's like to lose a mate."
