Augustin was comfortably seated in the thick armchair of a VIP room that had been specially prepared for him. He had asked to be left alone and wanted no company. And so he found himself in a room richly decorated with dark wood and sleekly designed furniture. A digital tablet and a series of newspapers covering current events in the paranormal world had been lent to him.

  He rested one ankle on his other knee and placed the digital tablet on his thigh. In this way, he took a moment to keep abreast of the various news items transmitted by the Council.
