Chapter ninety six

When Dominic and Kathy got back to the car, the road remained congested with no sign of clearing up soon.

"It seems like our decision to exit midway was the right call. Even if we rejoin the traffic now, who knows when we'll reach our destination," Dominic sighed, his breath visible in the cold air as he enveloped Kathy in his arms.

Kathy nonchalantly shrugged and smiled, "I'm not feeling cold at all after our dinner. How about we take a stroll?"

Glancing at the time and realizing there was still an hour left before the concert ended, Dominic agreed, "Sure. But there aren't any shopping areas or parks around here. Where would you like to go?"

"I'm not sure. To be honest, I haven't discovered many interesting dining or recreational spots during my time in the city," Kathy said innocently, looking at Dominic for suggestions.

Taken aback, Dominic asked, "Then how did you unwind during your vacation? Did you just stay at home?"
