Chapter 23: I'm Claustrophobic

"I'm claustrophobic, the elevator triggered it and caused me to have a panic attack", Kate confessed with a sign, she wasn't lying, after her accident she indeed became claustrophobic and avoided enclosed or small places.

Charles wasn't satisfied with her answer, how could her phobia trigger a panic attack. "If Jack hadn't informed him in time...", Charles closed his eyes, not wanting to think about it. There was something she wasn't telling him, he decided to let it go for now.

"If you want to use the elevator you can ask me or Jack to go with you or Stella, ok".

"Ok", Kate nodded smiling. "Where is Rose?"She asked, seeing as they were the only ones in the room.

"She must have gone", Charles replied nonchalantly.

"So how was the talk?".

"Trust me have had better", Charles signed, not wanting to explain.

Kate nodded, wanting to ask further but decided not to, wrapped her arms around his neck. “We are alone again", she said with a knowing smile, she brought his face closer to hers.
