Kate hissed, walking into the company, heading to the elevator, she spotted Jack standing right in front of the elevator.

“Was he waiting for someone”, she wondered.

"Morning Jack", she greeted as she got close.

"Morning Miss Cosgrove", Jack bowed slightly.

"What are you doing here?".

"Boss said I should wait here every morning to escort you to the office, you know due to your phobia", Jack explained.

"He did!"Kate exclaimed, surprised.

"Yes ma, I know I'm not meant to be saying this but my boss really cares about you Miss Cosgrove".

"Hmmmm", Kate nodded, pressed a button and stepped in the elevator with Jack.

The elevator stopped at the 30th floor as both of them stepped out.

"I'll take your leave", Jack informed and stepped back in the elevator.

Kate watched Jack leave before walking towards the office, knowing Charles was already there.

"Why couldn't there be another room where she could work", she whined in her head.
