CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND ONE

RIVER

If Edwin was planning an attack, then we needed to prepare for him. Edwin and his pack were ruthless. He wouldn't stop until he finished us. I didn't doubt Elara when she told me about Edwin's plans to attack the pack.

I quickly summoned Harrison, who appeared immediately after I summoned him.

"Greetings to you, River," he greeted me.

There was a smile on his face when he walked in, and I thought I would deviate from the subject a bit.

"You look excited," I noted.

He smiled even more broadly when I said that. I leaned forward. I was more interested now.

"Tell me about it, Harrison," I asked.

"Nothing, I'm just excited today," he replied.

I shook my head. I was sure that Harrison wasn't just excited because of nothing. There was no way he would wake up with such a high spirit so early in the morning.

"You and I know very well that you of all people can not be excited for no reason."

Harrison didn't reply immediately. He just continued smiling
