Chapter 16: Toxic

Alan POV

At this moment, I was too dumb to speak anything. I have never felt that warmness against my chest before making current transition through my veins numbing my legs as if tehre was no ground beneath me. The warm hug sent shivers through my veins as I slowly raised my hand to move Eva away by pushing her shoulders.

However, as my hand reached near her shoulder, I pulled her closer. I wanted to feel this, I was desperate. I slowly moved my hand around her shoulder which was so small that it was directky fitten in my arm. I dont want to let her go and it seemed that she doesn't want to let go either.

However, to break the perfectly timed moment David opened the door and entered. Hearing the door I turned and loosened my grip pushing her away. I was embarassed because I didn't find myself in a position where I am in need of a hug and in front of people, i dont want to show them that I need this.
