Chapter 52: Dark War

Eva POV

I was looking at David standing at teh door just governing the scene around. He was quite convinced that teh scene was not something easy to escape and sit on the sofa. There was blood everywhere, a terrified woman at one end of the building standing with her eyes wide and fingers on her cheek.

He looked at how his people were killed and was determined that the kill was something very professional. He then looked at the assasin who had entered the mansion to kill and he was indeed killed from behind. A clear story was seen here and need not have anything manipulative. David after finding the true story turned around and looked at me.

My eyes were on him though I was in Alan's arms. He understood that my expressions didn't actually matched the scene in front of him. I smiled for him, so that he doesn't get confused anymore. He looked at me smile like a devil in disguise and nodded to look back at the pompous woman at the end staring at me holding her cheek with a bit of blood
