THE WITCHES CAVE

Ronan's Pov

I sat beside April's bed, my eyes fixed on her pale face. It had been three days since we'd found her in the cave, three days since she'd last opened her eyes. Ryder and Kayson also focused on her, our faces etched with worry.

We'd taken turns watching over her, barely leaving her side as we waited for her to wake up. The pack's healer had done everything she could, but April's condition remained a mystery.

As I gazed at April, I couldn't help but think about how fragile she looked. Her strength and determination had drawn me to her from the start, but now...now she seemed vulnerable, helpless.

Ryder placed a hand on my shoulder, his voice low. "She'll come around, Ronan. She's strong."

I nodded, trying to believe him. But as the hours ticked by, I couldn't shake the fear of the possibility that she might never wake up.

And then, suddenly, April's eyes flickered open. We leaned in, our faces inches from hers, as she gazed up at us with a mixture of confusion and fear.
