DRESS.

Isabel got out of bed, checked her alarm, stretched a little, and took off her clothes to take a shower before meeting Noah at the "Novias" bridal dress boutique. She thought about how clever they must have been in choosing the boutique's name, but despite the obvious name, it was one of the best boutiques in the city.

After finishing her shower, she put on a pair of jeans and a black blouse and finally left her room. She headed to her sister's room, thinking she'd be ready to leave together. She knocked on the door, but there was no answer. After knocking three more times, each time more intensely, she opened the door only to realize that Hayami's bed was empty and untouched.

Isabel rubbed her forehead, annoyed.

"She didn't come home to sleep again."

She said to herself as she snorted; She didn't understand why, being the younger of the two, she had to scold her older sister almost all the time. Her cell phone started ringing; she thought it was her sister; however, when she looked at it, she saw Noah's name.

"Tell me?"

"Are you coming? I'm here."

His deep voice was heard.

"Yes, give me 10 minutes, I'll be right there."

Hanging up her phone, she went to W******p, saw the last message she had with her sister, and noticed that the last connection had been at 8:00 p.m.

"Yami, you weren't in your room. You said you'd be back, and you didn't. If you see this message, I'll be at the "Bridal" boutique. I told you, I told you... Well, we'd better talk later."

After finishing writing, she put her phone back in her bag, sighed, and then went downstairs. Leaving the house, she took a taxi, since she would be with Noah for the rest of the day and wouldn't need her car. After 15 minutes, she finally arrived at the store. Upon entering, she saw Noah sitting in one of the armchairs looking at his watch. That day, he was wearing jeans with a gray short-sleeved shirt. He looked away from his watch and looked at Isabel, who was approaching him.

"Excuse me for being late."

"Don't worry... Okay? And your sister? Wouldn't she be coming with you?"

She sighed heavily, slumping her body a little.

"Yes, she'll be coming now."

Noah shrugged as if he didn't care. One of the girls working at the store approached Isabel.

"Miss Isabel. Ready for your last dress fitting?"

"Yes."

She answered without any enthusiasm. The girl had seen many brides before, but Isabel wasn't the typical bride who felt happy about her upcoming wedding; that was obvious.

"Follow me."

The girl led Isabel to a dressing room while Noah stared at his cell phone.

About five minutes had passed since Isabel had left for the dressing room. Noah was still distracted by his cell phone. He heard the sound of the store door opening. Curiously, he turned around, noticing how the redhead was approaching him. Lucía, tired and agitated, noticed that she had just showered because of her hair, which was still visibly damp. She also noticed that she was still wearing the same dress from the day before.

"I'm here... And my sister?"

She said, trying to catch her breath.

"She's in the dressing room."

He answered, discreetly glancing at Hayami's shoulder, which was now missing her bra strap from the night before; she clearly hadn't slept at home that night.

Hayami sat next to him and took a sip from a glass she was carrying.

He cleared his throat before speaking.

"I see you had fun last night."

"Well... we could say so."

He took another sip from his glass of coffee.

She stood up from her seat.

"I'll go see what's taking so long."

She walked toward the dressing room and found Isabel and the girl helping her with her dress. That dress was beautiful, even though she wanted to avoid it. She reminded herself of herself in a wedding dress and how excited she was about that day. She shook her head repeatedly to get rid of that unpleasant image until she succeeded.

"You look great," Hayami said, smiling.

"Do you think so?"

Isabel asked, blushing.

"Of course I do."

Hayami leaned closer to her sister, hugging her.

"I've gained weight, the dress almost didn't fit me."

"You look the same to me."

Hayami pressed her sister's cheeks.

"Let's go so the groom can see it," said the girl who was still helping her with the dress.

As she left the dressing room, Noah looked at Isabel and smiled gently.

"You look very beautiful."

"Thank you."

Isabel played with the necklace around her neck again, looked at herself in the large mirror, then went back into the dressing room; after putting her clothes back on, she left.

"Now it's the groom's turn."

Hayami pulled Noah's hand. It was the first time she'd touched him since that night. His heart raced at the feel of her hand; Hayami almost pushed him into the dressing room. After he entered, she sat next to Isabel to wait for him.

"I noticed you were pensive. Is something wrong?"

"No. Don't worry, it's nothing."

Hayami took Isabel's hand.

"Are you sure? You know you can tell me anything."

"I know, it's nothing, don't worry."

"Can I ask you something?"

Isabel said, taking Hayami's hand more firmly.

"What?"

"Doesn't seeing all these dresses bring back memories of Ivan?"

"It's just that I was the humiliation of everyone."

"Are you still in love..."

Noah came out of the dressing room; he was wearing a gray suit with a black tie and he really looked very attractive. Hayami hid her gaze in amazement.

He didn't stay out of the dressing room for long. The girls in the store fell in love with the man, a little jealous of Isabel, who would marry him.

Noah dressed quickly, and as he left, he looked at the two laughing girls and approached them.

"Let's go have breakfast," Isabel said as she stood up from the couch.

"Mmm, that's fine, just because I'm starving."

Hayami replied smiling, and he smiled with her.

"Then let's go, I'll take you."

The three of them left the boutique. Isabel's dress would be delivered in a couple of days; it would be sent to her home. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the three ordered something from the menu.

They were having breakfast, and Isabel couldn't resist scolding her sister.

"I told you, I don't like you hanging around with strangers."

Noah started coughing; They both looked at him and smiled.

"He's not a stranger, don't worry, I'm dating him."

Noah looked at her curiously as she tucked into a piece of pancakes.

"Is he your boyfriend?"

Isabel asked.

"I wouldn't say boyfriend, we're just dating, it's nothing special."

Hayami saw Noah's green eyes.

Noah remained silent throughout the entire conversation between the two sisters...
