Then the man ran towards me, and bowed to me.

“Alpha, you are back.” He said, and the others bowed as well.

“Who are you?” I asked.

“I am Dane. I was one of your guards, when you were still here.” He responded.

“I see. Where is Melissa?” I asked, but they all looked at me, like they were baffled.

Diego came closer to me, and whispered.

“You mean Luna Jana.”

“Oh, I mean Jana.”

“She is with the women in the deeper part of the woods. Luna Jana is fine.”

“Alright, lead me there.” I instructed.

I was led to where Melissa was said to be, and when I got there, I noticed that they had built huts, and a few children were playing around, with a few numbers of women, preparing what seemed to be dinner.

Then I spotted Melissa, showing a particular child, affection, and when she noticed me, she ran towards me, with a wide smile, and hugged me.

“I knew I would still see you again.” She said, with a smile on her face.

“When it comes to that, never lose hope.” I said, with a slight smi
