MELISSA'S POV

I followed Stefan and Diego to the portal that was going to transport us back to our kingdom. I was nervous, though. It had been years since I stepped foot on that kingdom, and if I recall right, I was dead to them all.

Things might not be easy, but we were all determined to pass through the difficult phase, and get things done.

"Thank goodness we got here, today. By tomorrow, this portal would have closed up." Diego said.

I looked at the portal, it was reducing in size, and in a few hours, no one in the form of a human would be able to pass through it. There would only be a space for a dog, cat, wolf, etc. We were lucky that we decided to leave, today.

"Melissa, I mean, Jana. Are you ready?"

I was taken aback that he had called me Jana as I wasn't expecting it.
