“Father, please hold on. Stay with me.” I said, worriedly as Diego carried him on his back. With blood dripping from my father’s wounds.

“Oh! No. But I got some visitors a while ago.”

I felt relieved that my father had managed to take attention away from us. It wouldn’t be good to be caught so easy, and Stefan was going to be mad that we went out without informing him.

Unexpectedly, Valon turned and slashed my father with his claws and I gaped in shock. Diego covered my mouth to avoid me making a noise. I could only stare in pain at what Valon did to my father.

“You are busy receiving visitors when I haven’t gotten what I desire. Meaning you have been making yourself happy while I was sad. What disloyal subject you are, and you deserve this.” He said, with a smirk and pushed him to the cushion, then walked out of the house.
