I woke up ready for the journey and then gathered everyone to let them know of further things I had made up my mind on. Melissa’s father walked towards me as he had gotten much better.

I excused myself from the crowd, and attended to him.

“Is what I heard, true?” He asked.

“Yes. But you do not have to worry, I will get her back.”

Immediately I confirmed what he had heard about Melissa, his face went pale and whitened. I could tell he was really worried.

“I told her to listen to you. I told her not to jump at stuff like that, and now she has been captured. How do I live, knowing she is in Valon’s hands?” Her father sobbed.

“It was my fault. I couldn’t protect her until the end and ensure that nothing happens to her. But this time, I will ensure to get her back, and defeat Valon for this kingdom to feel peace again.” I promised him.
