ODESSA’S POV

“..., …cess…rinces…, Princess!!”

I jolted upright, “Huh? Yes? Yes?”

Evelyn pulled her head back and stared at me, “Are you alright, Your Highness? You've been out of it all day.”

I grabbed the glass in front of me and downed the sweet, smoth texture wine before replying.

“I'm good. Is there a problem?” I asked, dropping the cup gently in the table and looking up at Evelyn.

“No, I just wanted to know if you wanted sauce on your salmon.” She asked.

“Oh, Uhmm…just a little.” I said, punching my thumb and my second finger, close enough, but not quite touching.

Evelyn nodded and went on to serve my dinner.

I looked to the side and as soon as my gaze met his, I looked away, thankful for Evelyn wearing my hair down today. I turned the other way and hid my red cheeks from his eye view.

“So, Victor, why don't you fill me in on the things that happened while I was away.” His voice booked in the hall.
