ODESSA’S POV

As I rounded the corner to the hallway that would lead me straight to the King’s bedroom, someone suddenly appeared in my face and I had to stumble backwards, to avoid colliding with them.

“Hello Princess,” Eira stood tall, smiling at me.

I frowned, “I honestly thought you were never going to recover again.”

She sighed, “Oh, I'd recovered for a while now. His Highness told me to stay low just in case a certain Princess was still feeling murderous.”

I glared at her, “That punishment must not have been enough if you can still speak without thinking.”

“Oh, I'm so scared.” She said sarcastically, “It's not like you can do more than you've already done. You're fuming with anger just from a few words I said, you must be mad to see me alive and walking.”
