Conrad's POV

Veronica has been awake for an hour now. I told her everything that have happened...every detail including our fight.

Veronica simply smiled at me and even apologized for how she acted.

She told me that she was hurt at that time and her emotions clouded her judgement.

Opposite from what I am expecting Veronica acted like we are still on good terms as if nothing happened between us.

I don't know if she is pretending or not but she looks happy for someone who has been betrayed by the person she trusts the most.

I watched Veronica intently and when she noticed my stare she smiled at me.

"What?" she asked with a smile plastered on her face.
