Chapter 85

Atasha's POV

My father looked at me intently but our conversation was interrupted when I heard my phone ring.

Upon answering the call I saw Grace's name flashed on the screen.

"She woke up! Veronica woke up!" she announced the moment I answered the call.

My eyes widen. I immediately stood up. My father looked at me completely confused.

"Why? What is it?" he asked with curiosity laced in his voice.

"Veronica, she's awake," I uttered filled with happiness.

"Do you want to go there?" he asked.

I looked at him intently and then flashed a small smile before shaking my head.

"I won't be needed there and besides Veronica and I aren't on good terms," I said.

My father nods his head. I sat on the swing once again and continued watching the twins.

When they finally noticed my presence they started running towards me and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Mommy you're here," they happily uttered while hugging me tightly.

I hugged them back and kissed them on their cheeks.

"Did you miss Mommy?" I asked
