“No, Cassandra, keep going! We have to go!” she insisted, her voice trembling as she forced us to move forward.

We ran through the dark forest, branches scratching our skin, the uneven ground threatening to trip us with every step. Fear drove us, but soon I smelled the strong scent of gunpowder in the air, followed by a deafening explosion. The impact threw us to the ground, and when I looked back, I saw the fire spreading quickly, devouring everything in its path, consuming the trees, turning the night into a fiery hell.

The heat was intense, the air thick with smoke, making it hard to breathe. But there was no time to stop. The fire was advancing, forcing us to move forward, to flee without looking back.
