"Didn't you get someone to tail her?" Thaddeus questioned.

Jordan quickly explained, "I did. Our men jumped into the lake with her. Two of them who know how to swim pulled her up while the other called for help."

Thaddeus rubbed his temples, clearly not having the motivation to work anymore. "Is she okay?" he asked with a trembling voice.

"Nothing serious happened to her. She may have choked on some water, but her life isn't in danger," informed Jordan.

Thaddeus dropped the documents in his hand and hurriedly stood up. "I'm going to see her."

Jordan quickly ran to press the elevator button and drove straight to the hospital. When they arrived, Amy was already lying in bed in her ward.

After a round of check-ups from the psychiatrist, gynecologist, and cardiologist, they discovered that Amy had a schizophrenia attack and nearly had an abortion.

Suddenly, Colin came out of nowhere and ran to Thaddeus, his face covered with tears and snot.

"Mr. Holt, Amy almost had a miscarriage.
