Chapter 381

Thaddeus had just learned that he was having twins. He had even brought Jessamine home, and their relationship improved because of it. But now, Amy and the Quiltons were forcing him to abandon his wife and children.

He stood outside the ward with a heavy heart until the doctor came out when he was done.

Thaddeus asked, "Doctor, how has she been in the past two days? Is she getting better?"

The doctor shook his head and said, "She is very nervous, and her condition hasn't improved. I'm worried that something in her might snap one day, and she may do anything drastic.

"Moreover, her condition has worsened more than yesterday. At this rate, she won't know who she is anymore."

Thaddeus trembled upon hearing the doctor's answer. Amy was in a really bad spot. "Doctor, is there any way to help her recover as soon as possible?"

He figured that the incident that night must have frightened her. She was still lucid when he carried her out of that cemetery, so how could she have gone insane
