Chapter 31 Mama's Boy.

"Dismissed," Dexter closes today's meeting, and everyone except him and I are left behind.

Contrary to this morning he's looking rather drained and tired that he leans back in his chair, his legs stretched out as he signs repeatedly.

"Have you finally decided to talk to me?" He asks without even glancing at me.

Nervously I fondle my fingers, constantly looking at him and lowering my eyes the next second.

"Not at all, o just wanted to know the company status, what's going on, who owns this company, could you at least put what happened this morning aside and talk to me, this is business we're talking about, we're at work," I bluntly tell him.

Dexter flinches, I don't know why, but he did, and that bothers me, especially while he's staring at me with those angry eyes of his as if he were aiming to murder me.
