Raven stepped out of the bathroom, steam curling around her like a second skin as she walked into the bedroom. The soft glow of the bedside lamp cast a golden hue over the room, and her damp hair clung to her shoulders. Dressed in nothing but one of Damien’s black t-shirts that barely reached mid-thigh, she made her way to the bed.

Damien was propped up against the headboard, his body still heavy with exhaustion. His dark eyes found hers immediately, the intensity in them undimmed despite his weariness. He looked better, no longer wracked with pain, but there was a shadow of fatigue clinging to him, the kind that sleep alone couldn’t fix.

She sat beside him, reaching out to brush her fingers over his arm. "Are you feeling any better?"

"I'm not in pain anymore," he admitted, his voice low and gravelly, "but I feel like I haven’t slept in a damn week."

Raven’s lips curved slightly. "Then let me help."

His brows lifted slightly. "How?"

She moved closer, her hands smoothing over his shoul

Raven lay beside him, staring at him as if she were seeing him for the first time. Everything about him felt different and more intense, even more consuming. The euphoria coursing through her was unlike anything she had ever felt, ten times stronger than what she had experienced with Boris. Then, suddenly, she felt a small pulsing inside her chest. Her heartbeat synced with Damien’s, their rhythms beating as one.Her breath hitched. “Is this how it felt with you and your old mate?”Damien shook his head without hesitation. “No. What I felt with her was nothing like this.”His hands roamed over her, tracing familiar curves as if rediscovering them, as if she had somehow changed. His scent engulfed her, sending tingles from her throat all the way to her core.“I’ve never felt this much emotion all at once,” he admitted, his voice low and thick with something raw.She swallowed. “What does it feel like?”He pulled her closer, molding her hips with his. “It feels like the most pleasurable

Damien hesitated for only a moment before patting Emma’s back in a gesture that was more awkward than affectionate. Then, he pulled away and stepped beside Raven, instinctively reaching for her hand. His grip was firm and grounding.“Emma, I’m glad you’re alive and well,” he said evenly. “The whole pack was devastated by your loss.”Emma let out a sharp huff, her eyes flashing with something close to fury. “Not devastated enough if you’ve already replaced me.”Raven’s gaze flicked toward Damien, studying his face, searching for any sign that he still felt the mate pull toward Emma. But his expression was unreadable.“Boris and I rejected each other, so our bond is gone, Raven thought to herself. But Damien and Emma never officially rejected each other.”Damien’s voice was steady as he spoke. “I thought you died, Emma. Our mate-bond has been broken for years.”Then, without hesitation, he laced his fingers through Raven’s, holding her hand in his as if to make his choice crystal clear.

Damien’s face darkened. “So Elder Ralph is working with the witches too?”Sage smirked despite her restraints. “Of course, he knows what’s good for him. You stand no chance against our leader.”Damien’s patience snapped and turned to Raven. “I’ve had enough of her nonsense. Do what you want with her.”Without hesitation, Raven grabbed a roll of duct tape from the table and wrapped it tightly around Sage’s mouth. The witch thrashed against her bindings, but the tape held firm.Damien smirked. “Now no one can hear her poisonous words.”Satisfied, they left the dungeon and made their way back to the study, where Dominic and Miranda were still deep in conversation. As they entered, Damien wasted no time.“Sage confirmed it,” he said grimly. “Elder Ralph has been working with the witches. My pack had been under their spell long before I met Raven. It was the reason I was willing to meet with Boris in the first place.”Dominic leaned back in his chair, his expression thoughtful. “I have an

Damien's hands remained on her hips as his eyes swept over the vision in red sprawled across their bed… his bed. His mate. His Luna. His love.“I love you,” he repeated softly, as though the weight of those words had finally been freed from the place they’d been buried deep inside his chest.Raven’s breath hitched. For a moment, her entire world stilled. She stared at him, completely and utterly taken, because in all their time together, he had never said those words, not once. And yet now that he had, it felt like every moment, every touch, every heated glance had been leading to this truth.“I love everything about you,” he went on, his voice low and rough. “Not just because we’re mates, Raven. That bond is strong—I’d feel it even if I didn’t want to. But what I feel for you goes beyond instinct. I love your fire. Your stubbornness. Your loyalty. The way you protect this pack like it’s your own blood. And the way you look at me like I’m more than a man with a complicated past.”A tr

Raven’s gaze lingered on the rope in Damien’s hand, her breath quickening not from fear, but anticipation. His question hung in the air between them, thick with unspoken promises.“You really want to tie me up?” she asked softly, her voice low, tinged with curiosity and something more.Damien nodded slowly, stepping closer, his eyes locked on hers. “Only if you trust me.”She held his gaze, her heart pounding beneath her ribs. “I do,” she whispered. “I trust you more than anyone. With everything.”The way his expression shifted, hunger melting into something tender, made her chest ache. He kissed her slowly then, his lips lingering against hers, as if sealing a vow neither of them needed to speak aloud.“Lie back for me,” he murmured, guiding her gently toward the bed.She obeyed, letting her body sink into the soft sheets. The red lingerie still clung to her curves, but his gaze burned hotter than before, as if seeing her submit to him willingly unlocked something primal inside him.

The next evening, after a long day of training, the pack gathered for dinner. Just as they were starting to relax, the door burst open. Gaius rushed in, his face serious."A large army of witches is a mile away," he said quickly. "They're only ten minutes out, and they’re coming fast. They’re traveling with wolves from your old pack, Alpha Damien."Damien’s face darkened, and he clenched his fists. "Damn. I hoped my old pack wouldn’t attack," he muttered, frustration in his voice.Raven met his eyes. He turned to the pack and spoke. "Everyone's instructions are the same. Kill the witches. If you can take a wolf from my old pack prisoner, do it. But don’t put your lives at risk."Raven looked at him. "Do you think they’ll join us if we break the witches' spell over them?"Damien shook his head slightly. "I don’t know. We’ll see how the fight goes."Gaius stepped forward. "With your permission, Alpha, I’ll patrol the traps. I want to take out as many witches as I can before they reach u

Our wolves need us.”The Moon Goddess lay weakly in the soft glow of her realm. Her light was fading fast, her breath growing shallow. “My final spell paused time in your world,” she whispered. “Nothing is happening right now. Your wolves are safe for the moment.”Raven stared at her, trying to process everything. “Paused time?”The Goddess nodded weakly. “It won’t last long… but long enough to tell you what matters. Your destiny is here now. It’s time.”Damien looked down at her, stunned. Her words echoed in his chest. “Do you mean… Raven will become the actual Moon Goddess?”The Goddess’s gaze turned to Raven. “If that is what you choose.”Raven shook her head, tears brimming. “No. Don’t say that. Damien gently wiped the tears from her cheeks, brushing her hair away from her face.Raven took a shaky breath, forcing herself to straighten. “There’ll be time for me to grieve later,” she said, her voice hoarse but steady. “Right now, we need to get back to our realm.”Damien nodded. “The goddess said time will start immediately once we return. Are we going back to the same spot… or can you give us an advantage when you transport us?”Raven’s eyes sharpened with focus. “We have to return to the same location, but I can change our position. Instead of me lying on the ground, I’ll be standing.”Damien studied her for a moment, his eyes trailing over her glowing form with admiration and something more primal. “Goddess Raven,” he murmured, voice low, “there’s something

He held her close, his breath steady but tinged with regret. "Sorry, Raven, but I couldn’t listen to his poisonous words anymore."Raven met his gaze, her voice firm, and without hesitation. “Don’t be sorry. You did the right thing.”She turned to face the Alpha Council, her eyes steely with resolve as she made sure to explain herself clearly, to cut through any lingering misunderstandings. “You all misunderstand,” she began. “I am proud of my druid side. I believe druids and wolves can be allies, but druids have not proven trustworthy.”Damien’s gaze turned cold as he stared down the group of druids who had come

Damien, fueled by anger, took a step toward Victor, but Raven, acting swiftly, stepped between the two of them. With the strength of her powers, she pushed them apart. It was no small feat—she was strong enough to move both men, who were much larger than her. They stepped back reluctantly, though Damien’s fury was still palpable."Calm down, both of you," Raven said, her voice firm and commanding. "Let’s try to talk this out first."Damien snarled, his voice low and threatening. "There’s nothing to discuss. Raven is my wife. We’ve been legally married, and we have children together."Victor's lips curled into a slight smirk. Two hours later, Raven sat in the passenger seat of Damien’s SUV as he drove through the woods, one hand on the wheel and the other resting possessively on her thigh. They had left pack territory nearly twenty minutes ago, heading deep into neutral land where there were no patrols, no eyes, no responsibilities, just the two of them and the heat simmering beneath the surface. His fingers stroked her bare thigh slowly, back and forth. His palm lingered near the hem of her loose summer dress, knuckles grazing higher now and then like he didn’t even realize what he was doing.“You always get this quiet when we’re alone,” Raven teased, glancing at him sideways. “Trying to behave?”He didn’t look at her, just smirked, his hand tightening slightly. “Trying not to pull over and fuck you against a tree, actually.”Her lips curled into a slow smile. “Is that right?”Damien’s hand stilled, then moved away entirely, returning to the wheel.Raven raised a brow. “Backing off already? Later that evening, Raven and Damien entered the wedding hall, the grand space bathed in warm, golden light. "Wow, it’s so beautiful," Raven said, her eyes wide as she took in the stunning decor.Damien smiled, his gaze sweeping over the scene. "It is. And I’m glad Dominic is finally settling down. He needs someone calm like Miranda to balance him out."Raven nodded, her eyes shifting to Dominic, who stood near the front with a calm but content expression. "Oh, I agree. He’s seemed so at peace these past few months. It’s good for him," she said with a soft smile. They made their way toward Dominic, and Damien stood next to him, a proud look on his face as they watched Miranda walk down the aisle. Raven stood beside them just as Miranda reached the front. A smile tugged at her lips when she saw Jasper and Cora walking with Miranda, the two

Five months had passed since Raven had given birth to their son, and Damien had brought her, along with Cora and Jasper, to the Goddess Realm for the birth. Alex, their newborn, lay peacefully in a bassinet by the bed, his small chest rising and falling with every soft breath. The serene atmosphere of the realm was a stark contrast to the hectic energy of their everyday lives, but Raven knew it had been the right choice. Being here made her feel stronger, more connected to her powers, more like the moon goddess she was destined to be.Damien sat beside her, looking down at their son with a proud smile. “We go back to the human realm today,” he said, breaking the quiet moment. “I’ve enjoyed this week here with you, but I’ll admit, I’m ready to get back to the pack house.”Raven stretched out beside him, her hand gently brushing the soft curls of Alex’s head. “Me too. I miss having dinner with the pack and just... relaxing with everyone.”Damien leaned back in his chair and sighed. “I k
