Boris doubled over in pain as the rejection of his pack seared through him like a burning brand, his body convulsing under the weight of his lost connection. He let out a strangled snarl, but before he could recover, Andre and the rest of the wolves lunged at him. Their growls echoed through the courtyard as they slammed him onto the hard ground, pinning him beneath their collective strength.

"You're finished," Andre growled, his breath hot with rage. The others pressed down harder, ensuring Boris had no room to fight back.

Silver chains were wrapped around Boris’s wrists and ankles, burning his flesh on contact. He thrashed, his skin sizzling where the metal touched, but he was too weak to fight against it. His furious, pain-filled eyes scanned the faces around him, his own pack standing against him.

Andre’s voice cut through the tense air. "We’re finally free of you." He glanced at the gathered wolves. "You were never an alpha. You were a tyrant."

Boris spat onto the ground, his lip

The bed met her back, and before she could blink, he was on top of her, his body pinning hers in the most intoxicating way.His mouth devoured hers again, but this time, it was slower, deeper, like he wanted to savor her. A heavy silence settled over the clearing.Cora stood frozen, her hands trembling as she tried again, but Jasper remained invisible. His voice was the only proof he was still there.Raven exhaled, stepping forward. “Cora, breathe.”“I am breathing!” she panicked. “I don’t know what I did wrong—I just wanted to make him invisible for a second, not forever!”Damien placed a steadying hand on Cora’s shoulder. “It’s alright. We’ll figure this out.”Jasper groaned from the void. “Yeah, preferably before dinner? I’d really like to see my food.”Cora squeezed her eyes shut, frustration etched across her face. “I’m sorry, Jasper. I—I don’t know how to fix it.”Raven knelt in front of her daughter, her voice calm but firm. “Listen to me. You can fix this. Your powers come from inside you. Just like before, you have to guide them, not force them. Focus on what you want—to bring him back.”Cora took a deep breath. The energy around her shifted, swirling like an unseen force. Damien’s restraint was hanging by a thread. He scooped her into his arms effortlessly, carrying her toward the bed with a care that contrasted the raw hunger in his eyes. Every muscle in his body was tense, coiled, barely holding back the storm inside him.He laid her down gently, as if she were something precious, something to be cherished. But the moment his lips met hers, the control he had been clinging to shattered. The kiss was slow at first. Deep, unhurried, consuming. His tongue teased hers, coaxing her into surrender. His hands roamed down the sides of her body, fingers tracing the fabric of her dress as he pressed himself against her, letting her feel just how much he needed her.Raven’s heart pounded. Heat curled in her belly, spreading like wildfire through her veins. Raven woke before the sun fully rose, stepping onto the balcony as the cool morning air wrapped around her. She had barely slept, her mind weighed down by everything happening. The witches. Their growing power. The ring heated against her skin, a pulse of warmth that made her heart leap but then, nothing. No voice. No vision. No sign that the Moon Goddess had heard her.Frustration tightened her chest. His stance was tense, his expression unreadable.Sensing the shift in energy, Raven turned to Jasper. “Why don’t you take Cora into the kitchen for a snack? I’ll be there in a few minutes.”Jasper nodded, taking Cora’s hand and leading her inside. Once they were gone, Raven stepped up beside Damien. He didn’t take his eyes off Damien as he spoke. “Our patrol spotted my old Beta. Back when Damien had first come to visit Boris, Ryan had shown his true colors, choosing loyalty to the wrong side.“So he doesn’t know we’re here?” she asked.Damien turned t

Thirty minutes later, they stepped into their bedroom, the rush of victory still thrumming in their veins, but exhaustion weighed heavily on their bodies. He held her close, his breath steady but tinged with regret. "Sorry, Raven, but I couldn’t listen to his poisonous words anymore."Raven met his gaze, her voice firm, and without hesitation. “Don’t be sorry. You did the right thing.”She turned to face the Alpha Council, her eyes steely with resolve as she made sure to explain herself clearly, to cut through any lingering misunderstandings. “You all misunderstand,” she began. “I am proud of my druid side. I believe druids and wolves can be allies, but druids have not proven trustworthy.”Damien’s gaze turned cold as he stared down the group of druids who had come

They stepped back reluctantly, though Damien’s fury was still palpable."Calm down, both of you," Raven said, her voice firm and commanding. Just because he's on our side doesn’t mean anyone else is."Before Raven could respond, Alpha Lucas approached them. He was a large man with a commanding presence, his expression warm as he extended his hand to Damien."Alpha Damien, thanks for coming on such short notice," Alpha Lucas said, his tone respectful but filled with urgency.Damien returned the handshake, but his voice was stern. Two hours later, Raven sat in the passenger seat of Damien’s SUV as he drove through the woods, one hand on the wheel and the other resting possessively on her thigh. They had left pack territory nearly twenty minutes ago, heading deep into neutral land where there were no patrols, no eyes, no responsibilities, just the two of them and the heat simmering beneath the surface. His fingers stroked her bare thigh slowly, back and forth. His palm lingered near the hem of her loose summer dress, knuckles grazing higher now and then like he didn’t even realize what he was doing.“You always get this quiet when we’re alone,” Raven teased, glancing at him sideways. “Trying to behave?”He didn’t look at her, just smirked, his hand tightening slightly. “Trying not to pull over and fuck you against a tree, actually.”Her lips curled into a slow smile. “Is that right?”Damien’s hand stilled, then moved away entirely, returning to the wheel.Raven raised a brow. “Backing off already? He needs someone calm like Miranda to balance him out."Raven nodded, her eyes shifting to Dominic, who stood near the front with a calm but content expression. "Oh, I agree. He’s seemed so at peace these past few months. It’s good for him," she said with a soft smile. They made their way toward Dominic, and Damien stood next to him, a proud look on his face as they watched Miranda walk down the aisle. Five months had passed since Raven had given birth to their son, and Damien had brought her, along with Cora and Jasper, to the Goddess Realm for the birth. Alex, their newborn, lay peacefully in a bassinet by the bed, his small chest rising and falling with every soft breath. The serene atmosphere of the realm was a stark contrast to the hectic energy of their everyday lives, but Raven knew it had been the right choice. Being here made her feel stronger, more connected to her powers, more like the moon goddess she was destined to be.Damien sat beside her, looking down at their son with a proud smile. “We go back to the human realm today,” he said, breaking the quiet moment. “I’ve enjoyed this week here with you, but I’ll admit, I’m ready to get back to the pack house.”Raven stretched out beside him, her hand gently brushing the soft curls of Alex’s head. “Me too.
