"Grandpa Ramon, it's time for bed. I'll go check on Charles, then head to my room," Stella said.

Ramon smiled, closed his eyes, and thanked Stella. He drifted off to sleep, hopeful that tomorrow would bring good results from his efforts.

After ensuring Ramon was asleep, Stella slipped out of the room quietly. Outside, Alex awaited her with the things she needed.

"Mr. McWell Sr. is looking for you," Alex said respectfully.

"I'll give him a call," Stella replied, taking a small bag from Alex.

Alex bowed and departed. One good thing about the family he worked for was that they never pressured him to discuss their personal matters.
