Chapter 25

Stella wiped her lips in disgust after breaking away from Charles. She wanted to lash out at him, but her phone rang suddenly. Seeing the caller, she answered immediately, ignoring Charles standing in front of her.

"Mommy, I'm going to sleep now," Zion said sweetly.

Stella smiled at Zion's voice, her anger fading. "Yes, baby. I'm sorry I couldn't call earlier. Have you eaten?"

Charles clenched his fists, seeing the happiness on Stella's face as she spoke. That tone used to be reserved for him. Now, it was clear she genuinely loved the person she was talking to.

"Yes, Mommy. I miss you!"

Stella's smile widened at Zion's sweet words. If he were in front of her, she would smother his cheeks with kisses. "I miss you too, baby!"

Charles' expression grew even darker. It seemed Stella had forgotten he was still there. Without a word, he left the room, reminding himself that she was no longer his wife.

Stella noticed the door left ajar as Charles walked out.

"Mommy, are you with Daddy?
