Eric's POV

As the plane ran down the tarmac, I felt a warm leap in my heart at the thought of seeing my beautiful wife and daughter after close to a week of not being with them.

I lifted my wrist to check the time. It was barely a few minutes to twelve am.

The partners I had gone to see had offered that I stayed over to rest before travelling back, but I would not let anything come between myself and my reunion with my family.

It felt nice to be able to call them a family of mine. Not just my mother and my sister, but now my wife and daughter.
