Eric's POV

As I walked off the stage confidently, my shoulders felt lighter, and I was glad to have put an end to the shenenigans of Lola.

She was now in the spotlight she so admired and wanted but not for the reason she wanted.

I watched her face drain of its colour as she stared into the booing and disgusted faces of the guests she had invited, now an object of mockery at her own party.

"No. He doesn't know what he's saying," she screamed into the microphone, forcefully drawing the attention of all the guests who were already making their way out of the hall. Her makeup was already running down her forehead and face slightly due to her sweats and tears.

I folded my arms across my chest, my brows slightly cocked as I stared at her from across the hall. I stood waiting for a signal to get rid of Lola once and for all.
