CHAPTER FOUR

LIAM'S POV

"We want Justice"

"Justice for our loved ones"

"The cursed one must be punished for this misfortune"

Was all the pack members were shouting and carrying on placards outside my Chambers

"I feel your pain too, but you have nothing to worry about, the cause of this misfortune has been eliminated" I said and there was utter silence in the crowd

"Whoo! All hail Alpha Liam" someone shouted and the rest cheered, making me smile ear to ear

"I love you Alpha Liam" a little girl who was at the fore front of the crowd said and I smiled at her

She lost her sister during the mysterious bombing, now she had no blood relatives

"I love you too little one" I said back

I felt sorry for her, even if Sarah was gone, that didn't mean her sister would be brought back

"I want to adopt this little girl, she should be brought to this chamber after this gathering" I whispered to the ears of Richard, my beta, and he just stared at me

The crowd were still cheering, when Rina rushed up to me, and whispered that she couldn't find the corpse of Sarah

I was shocked and immediately dismissed the pack members

"How did that happen Rina?" I asked in a tensed voice as I got into the room

"I don't know Liam, I went to dispose it as you had requested, but on getting there, I couldn't find her, I organized a search team, but it yeilded no positive results" she said

"It could be that she survived the hit" Richard said with a shrug

"That's not possible.... I saw her take her last breath, I stabbed her real hard, there's no way she could have survived" I said sounding really convinced that I killed her

"Or...or else....or else.. some one helped..yes, someone must have restored her life....a mage or witch" I said and suddenly Rina and Richard's eyes widened

"That's true" Rina said in agreement

"If that's true, then who is the witch? The last time I checked, witches aren't allowed in here" Richard said with creased brows, one arm crossed accross his chest and the other on his jaw

"Kathleen...." Rina shouted

It was hard to believe, but she was right, Kathleen was the only witch allowed into the pack

But the question is, why would she restore the life of someone considered as our enemy?

"I want her summoned within minutes" I said as I took my seat

"I'll call her right away" Rina said as she walked out of the room

Rina was the sister of Richard, she has this huge admiration for me, I mean who wouldn't, but I wasn't into the lovey dovey shit

She had always been my childhood bestfriend though and I liked it that way, just been friends

"Liam!" Richard called out and I raised my face to look at his

"I know we have a situation on ground, but about the adoption thing" he said and I raised an eyebrow

"Since I've known you, anything having to do with having a family wasn't a thing you fancied....did you finally have a change of heart?" He asked, and I just cleared my throat

He was right, but there was something that drew me towards this girl, even before the death of her sister

"Well...what I mean is, have you finally decided to have your family? That's the mother, father and child or perhaps children stuff" He asked again, but I just kept staring at him

"Why are just staring at me that way?" He asked feigning frustration

"I'm staring, cause I don't comprehend what you're saying...what does adopting a little girl have to do with that, I just want to be her guardian... because I feel sorry for her....I mean love her, whatever, you know what I mean though" I answered seemingly uninterested in the conversation

"Arghh! Just when I thought you're becoming reasonable, how the hell do you intend to produce an heir to your...." He was saying but I cut him off

"I'm still very young, when that time comes we'll figure it out, that's why you're here with me right? To help me in my times of...." I was saying but he raised his hand, signaling that I stop, while he shook his head

"That's rude Richard...." I was saying but he cut in, AGAIN

"Yeah, Yeah, yeah I'm sorry Alpha Liam" he said sarcastically, and I rolled my eyes

"What are you two arguing about? We have a situation here" Rina said as she entered the room

"You should tell that to your brother" I said and he scoffed

"Where is she?" He asked

"Hh! I tried calling her phone but it's switched off, I tried contacting her through the mirror thingy she gave to us, but it didn't work, I also went to her home, but she wasn't there" she explained and we all sighed in frustration

"Turns out she is hiding somewhere with that Sarah girl" she continued

"Where is the prohetess?" I asked

"She is not in town" Richard answered

"Why would she be out of town in this crucial time?" I questioned with gritted teeth

Goodness! Did everything have to fall apart all at once?

She is a real burden and curse. Tsk!

And to think that she was my mate ? No, who cared though, she has to die, she couldn't possibly make my reign a bad one

' Where ever you are Sarah, I would find you ' I said to myself and left to my bedroom

THIRD PERSON'S POV

"Oh no! This is just the beginning Liam, I would make your reign the worst the Werewolves would experience" The man said, not without a maniac laugh

"He would end the life of their very own helper, and the disaster he is trying so bad to prevent, would befall them, when he least expect, ha-ha" Freda, the prohetess said and they both laughed

"You're such a great actress, I loved the show you pulled out there" the man commended, making her smile ear to ear

"What? Freda? How could you?" A voice echoed from behind them

Freda was shocked to see who it was, turning sharply towards the man, he had a smirk plastered on his face

She discovered that she had been set up

"You will pay for this, bastard"
