Pearl's POV

Buzzzzzzzz.

Buzzzzzzzz.

Buzzzzzzzz.

The annoying sound of my alarm clock shattered the tranquility of my cozy bedroom, ripping me from the most incredible dream I'd ever had. I groggily opened my eyes, revealing a pair of tired, bright blue orbs, and turned toward the clock with a deep scowl etched on my face. My eyebrows furrowed, and my lips pursed in frustration. One swift slap and the irritating buzzing ceased.

"Stupid clock, waking me up from my sleep," I muttered, my soft, melodious voice laced with frustration.

I slowly rolled out of bed, my slender body still wrapped in the plush, cream-colored duvet. As my foot touched the cold, hardwood floor, a shiver ran through me, causing my petite frame to tremble.

"Geez." I quickly withdrew my foot, seeking refuge in the warmth of my bed.

New Beacon Hill was always chilly, even in summer. Winters were almost unbearable, with frosty winds howling outside my window.

I slipped my feet into my soft, fuzzy slippers, parked beside my bed.

"Ahh," I breathed, relief washing over me as the warmth enveloped my toes.

The warmth was a welcome respite from the chill. But why was I so upset with the alarm clock? It was just doing its job, after all.

I gazed around my bedroom, the morning sunlight filtering through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow on the pale pink walls.

I'd set the alarm to ring at this exact time because, like all teenagers, I had to face the dreaded school day. A deep frown creased my face at the thought, my brow furrowing in concern.

Yeah, I hated school – not the learning part, though. I was an A student, always eager to devour new knowledge. High school was more about social hierarchies, a world where cliques and gossip reigned supreme.

The moment you stepped into those four walls, you were branded: Nerds, Jerks, Bullies, Weirdos, Social Freaks, or the worst, Social Setters – the elite group who thought themselves superior.

Those Social Setters thought they were superior simply because they were ravishingly beautiful, chiseled, popular, or came from affluent families, with mansions nestled in Beacon Hill's upscale neighborhoods. Their condescending smirks and haughty gazes made my blood boil. They were a pain in the ass!

Shedding the duvet, I felt the chill, despite wearing soft, pastel pink pyjamas that covered most of my skin. My porcelain skin prickled with goosebumps.

"Eisshhh, I'm definitely taking a hot bath." I stood up, peeled off my pyjamas, and headed into the bathroom. The warm glow of the bathroom lights enveloped me, illuminating the marble countertops and gleaming mirrors.

25 minutes later, I finished my bath and got dressed in my usual school attire: faded blue jeans, a crisp white top, white sneakers, and a thick gray sweater – essential for Beacon Hill's chilly mornings.

"Good morning, Mum. Good morning, Dad," I greeted, descending the stairs into the cozy sitting room. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air, mingling with the warmth of the crackling fireplace.

My mum's warm smile greeted me, her bright hazel eyes sparkling with affection. She planted a gentle kiss on my forehead.

"Good morning, sweetie," she said.

I beamed back, showing off my pearly whites. My cheeks flushed with happiness.

"How's my beautiful angel doing?" my father asked, enveloping me in a hug. His strong arms wrapped around me, and his deep voice rumbled with warmth.

"I'm fine, Dad," I replied.

My dad looked sharp in his well-fitted black suit, his silver briefcase resting on the polished dining table – a clear indication he was ready for another busy day at work. His chiseled features and piercing blue eyes exuded confidence.

"Sweetheart, hurry up and eat your breakfast so your father can drop you off at school," my mum reminded me.

I quickly devoured my breakfast – toasted bread with strawberry jam and rich, hot chocolate – before bidding my mum farewell with a kiss.

"Bye, Mum!" I called out.

I followed my dad out to his sleek, black sedan, and we headed to Beacon Hill High. The morning sunlight cast a golden glow on the town's picturesque streets.

Kyle's POV:

"Remind me again why we're doing this?" Nathan asked, approaching the passenger door where I sat, his piercing emerald eyes narrowing in skepticism.

"I've explained it a thousand times," I replied, irritation creeping into my voice, my jaw clenched in frustration.

Nathan's puzzlement was evident, his brow furrowed, and his lips pursed. "Well, I still don't get it," he persisted.

I sighed, exasperation etched on my face, my eyes rolling heavenward. "For the last time, we need to blend in," I said, my deep voice firm but laced with patience.

Nathan's expression turned incredulous, his blond eyebrows shooting up. "How does enrolling in school achieve that?" he asked, skepticism lacing his tone.

"Teenagers attend school; it's normal," I explained, my gaze locking onto Nathan's.

Nathan's face contorted in disbelief, his eyes wide. "We're not teenagers, Kyle. We're over 100 years old. Repeating high school is absurd."

I sighed, frustrated by Nathan's resistance, my shoulders sagging.

Eden, quiet until now, spoke up from the backseat, his smooth, baritone voice breaking the tension. "We're already here, and you've...acquired a father figure."

I glanced at Eden, seeking support, and met his piercing blue gaze.

"You agree this is best for us, right?" I asked.

Eden's gaze shifted between Nathan and me, his chiseled features expressionless. "What can I say? We've paid a man to pose as our father. Let's see this through."

I detected a hint of sarcasm in Eden's tone but chose to focus on his apparent support.

"Two against one, Nathan. We're doing this," I declared.

Nathan's disapproval was clear, his arms crossed, and his eyes flashing with annoyance. "This is a terrible idea."

But it was too late; our plan was set in motion. I opened the door for our "father," a middle-aged man with a warm smile and a receding hairline.

As we stepped into Beacon Hill High School, the sounds of chatter and laughter enveloped us, and the scent of freshly waxed floors filled our nostrils. We blended into the sea of students, our faces masks of normalcy.

Nathan's POV:

As we stepped into the school building, the fluorescent lights above illuminating our entrance, the sea of students parted like a divine intervention. Their eyes, wide with wonder, fixed on us in awe. Both boys and girls couldn't help but stare, their gazes locked onto our faces.

Kyle's chiseled features and piercing sapphire eyes seemed chiseled by the gods. Eden's sharp jawline and captivating amber gaze radiated an otherworldly allure. My own facial structure, angular and refined, framed my intense emerald eyes.

We were the epitome of allure – breathtakingly beautiful, charming, and equally deadly. But what these innocent humans didn't know was that we were demons, pretty devils in disguise. Our true nature lurked beneath the surface, waiting to be unleashed.

I couldn't fathom what Kyle was thinking. His calm expression, a mask of serenity, belied the turmoil brewing within. This plan was sheer lunacy. We should be keeping our distance from humans, not mingling with them.

Our presence was a ticking time bomb, threatening to expose our kind. Our design made us irresistible to humans – our captivating looks, intoxicating scent, and flawless skin drew them in, testing our self-control.

"It's like being in a room filled with your favorite cuisine, forbidden to indulge," I thought, my eyes scanning the hallway.

The temptation was crippling. "People are staring," I whispered urgently, my voice barely audible over the din of student chatter.

Kyle's expression remained calm, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled reassuringly. "They're staring because we're new students. Stop being paranoid."

Eden chuckled, his eyes glinting with mischief, his lips curling upward. "This will be fun."

Our "father," a middle-aged man with a warm smile and a receding hairline, accompanied us as we navigated the hallway. The locker-lined corridors, adorned with vibrant posters and colorful student artwork, seemed to close in around us.

We searched for the Principal's office, our footsteps echoing off the polished floors. The façade was convincing, but I knew the risks. One misstep could unravel our deception and unleash hell upon this unsuspecting school.:

Eden's POV:

As we navigated the school hallway, our fake father in tow, I couldn't help but feel like a lost donkey amidst a sea of staring teenagers. Their eyes, wide with curiosity, fixed on us like magnets. The fluorescent lights above cast an eerie glow on our faces.

Kyle's sharp jawline and piercing sapphire eyes seemed tense, his brow furrowed in concentration. Nathan's emerald eyes narrowed, his lips pursed in disapproval.

It had been ages since any of us set foot in a school, and everything seemed foreign. The locker-lined corridors, adorned with vibrant posters and colorful student artwork, overwhelmed me.

"Where exactly are we headed?" I asked, feeling disoriented.

Kyle's gaze met mine, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "The principal's office," he replied, though his uncertainty was palpable.

Nathan frowned, his angular face creasing. "We've been walking in circles. Where is it?"

Kyle consulted our "father," who shrugged, still smiling eerily. His receding hairline and bushy eyebrows gave him a peculiar look.

"I don't know," he said.

Nathan whispered to Kyle, his voice barely audible over the din of student chatter. "Where did you find this guy? He's weird."

I suggested, "Why don't we ask the students for directions?"

Kyle and Nathan stared at me, incredulous. Nathan's eyes widened, his face a picture of dismay.

"No way, they're giving me the creeps," Nathan refused.

I smirked at Kyle, my lips curling upward. "You proposed this school idea; now ask for directions."

Kyle hesitated before approaching a boy and girl. "Excuse me, sorry to disturb you, but could you point us to the Principal's office?"

They stared, silent, their faces frozen in awe. Kyle returned, flustered.

"I can't do this; these teenagers are unnerving."

Our "father" continued smiling, prompting Kyle's frustration. "Why are you smiling all day?"

"I'm happy to be your father," he said, chuckling.

Kyle corrected him, his voice firm. "You're not our father; I'm paying you to act."

The man's smile persisted. "I know, but I'll enjoy the feeling. My own kids are ugly as a pig's ass!"

Kyle's exasperation boiled over. "Argg!"

I chuckled briefly; our "father" was quirky.

Nathan proposed, "Let's leave. This was a mistake; we don't belong here."

But I was intrigued. "Hold on, let's try this for a day. Maybe we can make it work."

Nathan disagreed, his eyes flashing with annoyance. "Who'll ask for directions? I won't."

I volunteered, "I will."

Scanning the hallway, I spotted a girl engrossed in her phone, oblivious to our presence. Normal teenager behavior, I thought.

Her long, curly brown hair cascaded down her back, and her bright blue eyes sparkled as she scrolled through her screen.

"Hey, hello," I said, blocking her path carefully.

She raised her head, and our eyes met.

Pearl's POV:

I strolled down the hallway, engrossed in my phone, chuckling at a hilarious F******k post. The fluorescent lights above cast a warm glow on the vibrant posters and colorful student artwork lining the lockers. Suddenly, a deep, velvety male voice interrupted my amusement.

"Hey, hello."

I lifted my gaze to meet the speaker's face and gasped. He was breathtakingly handsome, almost angelic. His chiseled features, refined nose, and sharp jawline left me breathless. His piercing blue eyes seemed to shift to amber, hypnotizing me.

His lips, invitingly red and plump, curved into a gentle smile, revealing perfect white teeth. I'd never seen him at school before; I would've remembered that face.

"Hello, please...I need directions to the principal's office," he said, his voice low and smooth.

Time froze. I stared, unresponsive, until his words registered.

"Y...Yeah, I can take you there," I stuttered, my voice barely above a whisper.

His smile sent my heart racing, and my cheeks flushed.

Just as I was recovering from his captivating beauty, two more stunning boys appeared beside him. The golden-haired boy's eyes, a captivating wine-gold hue, sparkled with amusement.

"So, Eden, does she know the principal's office?" he asked.

The third boy, equally handsome, stood beside him, his emerald eyes narrowing slightly. His sharp features and angular face radiated an aura of confidence.

I found myself awestruck by their collective beauty, my mind reeling.

"Who are these guys?" I wondered, my thoughts a jumbled mix of curiosity and fascination.

Their presence seemed to command the attention of everyone around us, drawing envious glances from passing students.
