Chapter 105

Sofiya

Someone was rubbing my back when I woke up. I thought it was Adonis, so I turned away from the touch. We had another nasty quarrel at home because he refused to let any member of the pack assist us in taking care of the twins which was taking a huge toll on both of us. We argued bitterly and said really demeaning things to each other

"Baby, I didn't mean anything I said to you, Sofiya. I'm really stressed out, and I shouldn't have yelled at you." Adonis said in a whisper.

"Adonis, I'm not in the mood to talk right now." I told him to get out of bed and go to the bathroom. My eyes were red and puffy, and my makeup was all over the place. I quickly washed my face and decided that Adonis and I probably shouldn't see each other until the next week.

"I'm going to my grandmother's house a week early, and I'm taking the twins with me. Maybe in that week you'll figure out what's most important to you, and then we can talk about it." I said as I was leaving the bathroom.

"Sofiya, you're
