I woke up with a terrible headache and vision so blurry that I could only see a person standing over me. I closed my eyes to try to get some of the tension out of my head, but that made things worse. The figure started to talk, and then it crouched down and moved toward me.

"Wake up, you skank." I heard it say something in a voice that was very familiar to me. My vision started to get better, and I could see that it was Laura standing right in front of me with a sarcastic look on her face. When my wrists started to hurt, I looked down and saw that they and my ankles were tied together with rope.

"What's going on?" When I asked, my voice cracked because my mouth was so dry.

"What do you suppose I'm up to?" Laura was asking a question. "I'm going to kill you and your stupid kids slowly. How long have I been waiting for this moment?" She went on, a crazy look in her eye.
