Chapter 9-Judgemental

At first glance, the manager immediately knew that her staff had judged the wrong person. She gave the staff an angry look before approaching the plainly dressed woman. “Ma’am, I’m sorry for what my staff did.”

Sophie and Elizabeth were even more surprised because of what the manager was doing.

“Hey, what are you doing? Do you know that that woman did not only do something bad to your staff?” Sophie said to the manager.

The manager looked at the two women for a moment. Suddenly, she doubted what to do next. She needs to prioritize good customers because business is business.

Stella extended her hand in front of Alex and he immediately gave her the gold card.

“You can watch the surveillance camera footage, so you can find out who is really at fault here.”

“Huh, you’re really arrogant! Who are you proud of, that old man you’re in love with?” Elizabeth asked Stella insultingly.

A corner of Stella’s lips lifted and she shook her head. In that case, Charles was referring to Alex as hi
