Chapter 13-Challenge

“Sir, the meeting is about to start.”

Charles turned to his secretary, who unknowingly followed him. He sighed before walking back to the conference room.

Stella lost the will to go to the conference room. She also had a sudden headache, so she decided to leave.

Alex quickly approached the girl and helped her get to the elevator.

Charles clenched his fist when he saw the man with Stella. In that case, the same man was accompanied by his ex-wife. The man seems to have a connection to this company, so they are there. After getting off the elevator, the two faced him. Both of them gave each other a cold look before the elevator closed.

“Are you all right, ma’am?” Alex asked the girl.

“Let’s go straight to my son,” she whispered to Alex.

The man did not ask any more questions and followed what the girl ordered.

In the mansion, Fausto is restless while waiting for his assistant to call. He waited another twenty minutes until the phone rang.

“Sir, I’m sorry if I called you just now.
