Chapter 18-Envy

“What are you doing here in my grandfather’s room? What do you need, and why did you come back?” Sophie asked Stella one question after another and immediately approached her grandfather.

Stella thought about it. If Sophie acted, it would be like she was doing a disservice to her grandfather.

“Sophie, what kind of question is that? It’s Stella’s house, so you shouldn’t be asking her that kind of thing.”

Sophie was annoyed with Stella because she’s still the one that her grandfather is siding with. “She didn’t sign the deed, so she has no right to the house from my brother,” replied Sophie.

Magda jumped from her stance when she heard what Sophie said. She suddenly got nervous, and the information might reach Charles’ knowledge.

“What did you say?” Ramon’s eyes narrowed. “What that means is that you know she didn’t take what your brother gave her, but you didn’t tell Charles?”

Sophie suddenly turned pale, and her chest puffed out. It’s too late to take back what she said out of jeal
