Romantic evening

"I feel bad taking a break now that we're leaving so soon." I said quietly.

"There's no rush." Ezra reassured me.

"Besides, I think you're enjoying yourself more than I am."

I rolled my eyes at Ezra's comment and smiled lightly. After we finished eating, Ezra paid the bill and we made our way back to the car. Once we were seated, Ezra drove off and headed toward my hometown.

I was lost in my thoughts during the journey home, reminiscing about yesterday's events. It was strange although I had never been here before, it seemed familiar somehow.

Even though I knew nothing about this town, I had a strong feeling that I'd known someone here once upon a time. As the sun set lower and lower, the temperature began to drop.

Soon it would become quite chilly and I shivered slightly. Thankfully Ezra was able to notice my shiver and wrapped his arms around me tightly. We arrived in my neighbourhood and parked in my driveway.

"Thank you for coming." I smiled up at Ezra who was looking down at
