The worst part

"Coming." She yelled from inside of the house and opened the door. "Hi guys!"

She smiled brightly. She seemed happy to see us and I couldn't wait to hug her. She always makes me happier than anyone else.

"How are you doing?" I asked.

"Good. And you?" She asked.

"Okay, now that you're here, we could eat. Right Ezra?" I asked.

"Of course." He nodded.

We walked inside of the kitchen and she started preparing our breakfast. Ezra helped her while I waited by the counter.

"So why did you decide to go grocery shopping today?" She asked.

"Because we haven't eaten breakfast and I think you need to take care of yourself and I'm worried about you." I explained.

"That's sweet of you. But I'm fine. Don't worry about me, Ezra. Just have fun with Alessia and the kids." She smiled.

"Okay, but if you say something or need help or something happens I'll help you, alright?"

"You promise?" She asked me.

"Yes, I promise. Now, go, enjoy your day with your family." I smiled.

"Okay!" She replied enthusiastic
